With A Mixture Of R&B and Hip Hop, Melodii Comes In Hard
(YourDigitalWall Editorial):- Miami Beach, Florida Apr 27, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – After much teasing and anticipation, Melodii Rozett delivers a tuneful R&B single, titled “Toxic.” The singer-songwriter-engineer has a euphonious voice with a confident approach in “Toxic” that expresses a toxic cycle after a breakup. Platinum music producer David Ballard created a West Coast-inspired record with heavy-hitting 808 and melodic tunes. Melodii took a controversial topic and created a record that has everyone acknowledging their own toxic ways. Teaming up with Rapper-Comedian-Instagram sensation Delly Fever, the two talented young ladies deliver lyrics that are unapologetic, sexy, and extremely blunt.
Speaking of the meaning behind the track Melodii explains, “I think we are all a little toxic, whether we want to admit it or not. I’m not glorifying toxicity, I’m just saying the things that people are thinking, feeling, or just too ashamed of admitting out loud. Breakups can be messy especially when love and feelings are involved so I wanted to write a record that was real, personal, and relatable.”
“Even if we break up / he’s still my N**** / even if we ain’t together / he forever my N**** / and he ain’t going nowhere / I’m toxic I know but I don’t care / toxic / I know I don’t play fair/toxic, I’m a little bit toxic” She sings.
Melodii expressed, “I absolutely love this record because it’s so relatable. It expresses how a lot of people may feel about someone who they are still in love with but might have parted ways.”
“Toxic” is the first single off of Melodii Rozett’s upcoming EP that’s set to drop this summer 2022. Melodii released 2 major projects in the past couple of years – including “ELEVEN” and “Roze Gold” EP. Each EP includes hit singles like “Took An L”, “Blow My Mind ft Kidd Adamz”, “Impress Me”, “Flexin ft Boogie Tee” and many more.
