Dr. Kim Cliett Long, Executive Director of the Lowcountry Rice Culture Project has been elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH)

Dr. Long is the Executive Director of the Lowcountry Rice Culture Project, which was formed in 2010 as a clearinghouse and alliance builder for activities that investigate, uncover, and recover the southern Lowcountry rice legacy’s common cultural inheritance.  The arts,  history,  culture, and education are the core focuses of the organization, and how these core areas intersect the health and well-being of the dependents of West Africans, the Gullah Geechee people is a primary research area.
