Stop the Violence Procession to be held in Jefferson County, AL

The Jefferson County Funeral Directors and Morticians Association, will be conducting a STOP the Violence rally and procession on Sunday, June 26, 2022 at 3pm and a press conference at 4pm.

(YourDigitalWall Editorial):- Birmingham, Alabama Jun 21, 2022 (Issuewire.com) – The Jefferson County Funeral Directors and Morticians Association will hold a Stop the Violence Procession for violence awareness on Sunday, June 26, 2022. The goal is to work with local clergy, law enforcement agencies, and state and local officials to bring awareness and develop solutions that aid in decreasing the amount of violence in our community.

The “Stop the Violence” Procession and Press Conference is scheduled for Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. The processional will begin at Faith Memorial Roebuck Chapel, located at 9012 Parkway E, Birmingham, AL 35206, and will conclude at the Legion Field Stadium, where a press conference will be held at 4:00 p.m.

Special guests will include families of victims and community officials. The practice of social distancing and masks are encouraged.
