(YourDigitalWall Editorial):- Phoenixville, Pennsylvania Sep 14, 2024 (Issuewire.com) – The nonprofit Brewing Diversity n Inclusion Festival (BDIF) is making waves in the craft brewing community with its nationwide diversity and inclusion campaign. Founded by Bitches n Brews, BDIF embraces all kinds of brewing–craft beer, wine, mead, coffee, home ferments, brewed soaps, and more–with the goal of uplifting inclusive and vibrant communities.
The first BDIF event of 2024 is scheduled for September 15th at St Michael’s Park in Mont Clare, Phoenixville, PA. Following this, the festival will travel to various cities across the U.S., with dates and locations available on the festival’s website, ensuring that the movement is made accessible to a broad audience.
Founder Mikenzie Tavenner Hardman emphasizes that BDIF is more than just a celebration of craft beer. The festival features experiences like brewing beers infused with favorite food flavors and diversity and inclusion discussion panels, as well as self-reliance through diverse home brewing methods for any lifestyle and community support of these special artisans and brewers through features both virtually and in-person at the events. More importantly, it focuses on creating meaningful connections that drive economic impact, broaden market reach, and promote positive social change. Tavenner-Hardman envisions BDIF as a long-term initiative that will continue to grow and evolve to support communities across America.
BDIF’s workshops go beyond brewing beer, offering skills in food preservation through fermentation and in making household products like probiotic deodorants and natural cleansers. These workshops are conducted in collaboration with local entrepreneurs, small businesses, DEI organizations, and artisans, including partnerships with other nonprofit organizations and community groups to work together for a more inclusive and prosperous future.
As BDIF events roll out this Summer/Fall season, Tavenner-Hardman plans to launch a behind-the-scenes series showcasing how Bitches n Brews is innovating within the DEI and brewing communities. Alongside her partner, Jeff Hardman, she hosts a 5-minute podcast that highlights vendors, entertainers, and other participants, giving attendees a chance to connect with them before the events for more meaningful interactions.
Tavenner-Hardman’s goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming environment. “We want everyone to feel invited to the table with experiences curated for them to enjoy what they already love, while discovering new experiences and making new connections,” she explains. BDIF invites everyone, and their dogs, to join the BNB community, learn new skills and have fun together at their events and beyond.
