Dr. Mazo’s academic journey is impressive; he obtained his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1993, followed by a residency in General Surgery at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine, which he completed in 1998. He further specialized with a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Pennsylvania State University in 2000 and concluded his education at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, finishing a residency in Occupational and Environmental Medicine in 2007.
Since 2011, Dr. Mazo has held board certifications in both occupational medicine and preventive medicine from the American Board of Preventive Medicine.
