America’s Best in Medicine Profiles Jeneifer Threadcraft, MS, LPC, NCC: Founder of Positive People Taking Charge

Leading Trauma Recovery, Suicide Prevention, and Family Advocacy Through Compassionate, Faith-Integrated Mental Health Care and Community Outreach

(YourDigitalWall Editorial):- Conyers, Georgia May 27, 2026 (Issuewire.com) – Conyers, Georgia — Jeneifer Threadcraft, MS, LPC, NCC, is a Licensed Professional Counselor, trauma specialist, and community advocate with more than a decade of experience supporting individuals and families through mental health challenges, trauma recovery, family counseling, and suicide prevention. Through her counseling practice, nonprofit leadership, and community outreach efforts, Jeneifer has dedicated her career to helping families heal, build resilience, and reclaim hope.

Known affectionately throughout her community as “the Purple Lady,” Jeneifer is recognized for her compassionate, faith-driven approach to counseling and service. She holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science degree in Psychology, along with a Post-Graduate Degree in Trauma from Grand Canyon University. Her educational and professional background has equipped her with specialized expertise in trauma intervention, domestic violence support, family systems, and holistic approaches to emotional healing.

Jeneifer is the Founder of Positive People Taking Charge, a branch of Positive Peering, Inc., where she leads programs focused on trauma recovery, mental wellness, family counseling, and community support. Through her work, she strives to create safe, empowering environments where individuals and families can heal emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

Her journey into counseling began unexpectedly while working alongside pediatrician Dr. Donna Marie Brown. As a teen mother herself, Jeneifer naturally connected with young people who shared their struggles and challenges. What began as informal conversations and support eventually grew into organized group sessions and ultimately evolved into her lifelong calling to help families navigate trauma and adversity.

Through those early experiences, Jeneifer recognized that meaningful healing requires supporting the entire family system rather than focusing solely on one individual. She believes the well-being of children is deeply connected to the emotional and mental wellness of parents and caregivers, a philosophy that continues to guide her therapeutic approach today.

“What I enjoy most about my work is the opportunity to help families heal and grow,” says Jeneifer. “I am passionate about guiding individuals through trauma, supporting mental wellness, and witnessing the resilience and transformation that occur when people receive the right care and encouragement.”

Throughout her career, Jeneifer has remained actively involved in community advocacy and statewide initiatives supporting families impacted by trauma and violence. She currently serves on the Georgia Murder-Suicide Response Network Team and the Georgia Commission on Family Violence, helping provide support, education, and resources to families and communities facing crisis situations.

In addition to her clinical work, Jeneifer has led numerous programs for youth, adolescents, and parents, combining counseling expertise with motivational speaking, mentorship, and educational workshops. Her work emphasizes resilience, self-worth, mental wellness, and practical strategies for healing and personal growth.

Beyond counseling and advocacy, Jeneifer is also an author and mentor. She is currently writing a four-part book series titled You Don’t Know My Story: To Heaven with Love, with the first installment scheduled for release on Mother’s Day. The series reflects both her personal and professional experiences while highlighting themes of healing, faith, perseverance, and transformation.

Through her nonprofit leadership, writing, counseling, and community engagement, Jeneifer Threadcraft continues to empower individuals and families to overcome trauma, embrace hope, and build healthier futures. Guided by faith, compassion, and service, she remains deeply committed to helping others discover healing, strength, and restoration in every stage of life.
