Contemporary artist Kellsie Moore will debut Becoming Home, a solo exhibition exploring memory, identity, and belonging, at Art Gym Denver on Saturday, September 26, 2026.

Utilizing layered textures on raw canvas or linen, the contemporary, abstract collection examines how the geographical spaces we inhabit continue to shape our internal worldview long after we leave them.
“This body of work is a deeply personal exploration of what it means to build a home within oneself when your external geography is constantly shifting,” says artist Kellsie Moore. “Each layer and texture represents a memory, a culture, a view, or moments of self-reflection from my travels.”
The opening event kicks off with an exclusive VIP, Curator, and Press Preview from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, offering members of the media and design community first access to the collection and dedicated interview time with the artist. The public opening reception will follow immediately from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

Kellsie Moore is an interdisciplinary artist and anthropologist whose work explores the relationship between people, place, identity, and belonging. Her work has been exhibited throughout Colorado and beyond, including a six-week Artist-in-Residence with Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience. Also a writer, Moore is preparing to publish her debut historical novel this fall, extending her exploration of people, place, and identity through another form of storytelling.
