The rollout for the 2025 Emmy Nominations is finally happening! On Tuesday, CBS Mornings announced the nominations for Outstanding Reality-Competition Program and Outstanding Talk Series. The rest of the nomination list will be announced by Running Point’s Brenda Song and Harvey Guillen from What We Do in the Shadows at 8:30 a.m. PT.

Some of the most anticipated contenders for this year’s Emmy Awards are most likely to be the twisted workplace drama Severance, starring Adam Scott, and The Studio, starring Seth Rogen. For its debut season in 2023, Severance received 14 nominations in total. However, it only won two for its music and title sequence. Some other names like Slow Horses, Shrinking, and Presumed Innocent might also have the potential to create a stir this season. Here are the nominations announced so far –

The 77th Primetime Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, Sept. 14 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m., at Peacock Theater in L.A. Nate Bargatze will be the host of the eventful evening this year, and it will be broadcast live on Paramount+ and CBS.
