Depp could be heard speaking in the recording in how sorry he is about hitting her with the door or hitting her head. As per reports, it was Johnny’s lawyers who had first played the recording back in the month of August 20165 during Amber’s videotaped deposition in the middle of their divorce proceedings.

At the time of the deposition and after listening to the audio recording, Heard had supposedly said aloud in front of the court that she had never intended to slam the door onto his head but she did hurt him. Heard was also heard saying that she was just trying to escape because Johnny was attacking her at that moment.

Moreover, Amber had claimed that during the trial the tape was misrepresented to what had actually occurred. As per the Never Back Down actress, she was just trying to keep Johnny out of the room as he was trying to break in.

Those following the case well know that this is not the only tape that has been revealed since Johnny’s defamation suit against her began. As per reports, Johnny has sued her for $50 million over the opinion piece which she had written in the editorial section of The Washington Post.

It was in the essay when Heard described herself as a survivor of domestic abuse and while she never actually took his name directly but it was widely assumed that it was to be Johnny that the actress was referring to.

As it happened, that Depp had strictly refused and denied the claim and argued that it was Heard who was the abusive one in the relationship.

When the scandal got leaked at first amid their separation news, the public opinion as it appeared was mostly on Heard’s side. However, it took no time for the scenario to change when an audio recording was published by The Daily Mail which featured Amber admitting to having hit Johnny and also demeaning him for being concerned about the incident.
