Rising over the crowd from a vibrant city, the Pop music artist from Perth, O’Neill Fernandes is here with his latest 48th edition album ‘Price Tag’ consisting of 21 tracks.
Since his childhood, O’Neill Fernandes has always resorted to music as his saving grace and this was due to the influence of his late father, Austin who had introduced the little kid to music. It was the first time this Pop music artist from Perth had picked up a guitar and emerged in the world of music. These baby steps were the beginning of the bright future of the super-talented artist. His latest 48th edition album ‘Price Tag’ consists of 21 cover tracks of classical hits, two of which, ‘I’m a Believer’ by The Monkees and ‘Venus’ by Shocking Blue, respectively are bound to bring back the groove of the 60s and 70s.
The first track, ‘I’m a Believer’ is considered to be the last hit of 1966 as it ranked number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in the last week of December and stayed there for seven weeks. So, it is clear that this song had an enigmatic flow to it and this flow has remained uninterrupted in the new album ‘Price Tag’, but there is a new soundscape that somehow emphasizes the golden harmony of the classic. The second track, ‘Venus’ which is also another great classical hit has also been placed in his album with a carefully curated, commendable background score that is bound to take his listeners on a nostalgic ride to the past.
