On an interview conducted a month ago, the 38-year-old American Idol alum was verbal about her state of mind while she had been working relentlessly as a career woman and at the same time as a mother during the quarantine.
The singer had confessed to the outlet that she has been on an emotional roller coaster for the last couple of weeks because she had been working really hard as a parent while also working on her career and her usual day-to-day tasks. Clarkson had further added that she has been cleaning non-stop after her teenagers and toddlers.
She spoke about how her life has been nuts around the house as all of her kids are learning from home. According to a representative who spoke on behalf of Glamour UK to Page Six, reported that Kelly was interviewed approximately four weeks before, which was on the 20th of May.
As per the previous reports, Kelly and Brandon Blackstock had filed for divorce on the 4th of June. It has been reported that Kelly never really touched on her marriage to Blackstock which apparently lasted for seven long years. Moreover, she never discussed whether her stress levels could be attributed to her relationship with Blackstock.
Considering all things, the Voice judge did mention the stress of having a great stay at home while also continuing to work on her career as well. Fans are aware that Kelly and Blackstock are parents to two kids together including Remington and River Rose.
It is said that Kelly has also been taking great care of her two teenage stepchildren as well, to which Clarkson went on to express gratitude for her situation by stating that there are several other people in the world who are stuck in much worse scenarios than her own.
The star said those words quite normally and that they have a lot of help around the house. Regardless of all these, she does her best to be a hands-on-mother because she doesn’t at all want her abandonment issues to get carried on to her two kids.
