She took to social media to share this moment of joy and feat with the world. She said that she is very grateful for her decision to choose her wellbeing over other influences. Her Instagram post was very personal as she shared her journey with everyone. She added that the sense of accomplishment was even more as the past year had been extremely difficult for everyone. She said that like anybody else, her life also comes across moments of rock bottom and overwhelming situations. However, instead of running away from her fears and anxieties, she chose to face them and overcome them. She said that she tries to be her best self to come out victorious on the other side of this darkness.

The post continues highlighting the various difficulties and challenges that the world went through in the past year. She said that with every difficulty, she choose to rise above those challenges. She also added that loving oneself is the best gift one could give oneself. She said that she has loved herself through the difficult times which proved that she is capable of getting through any situation.

She addressed her post to anyone and everyone who is struggling or is contemplating a desire to get sober. She said that this journey is not an overnight thing. A person needs to be patient and continue with the journey one day at a time. Even after staying sober for so long, she does not have the answers to everything. She is sure of what works for her and she is always there to lend her support to anyone who is seeking help.
