For 29 years, Earthdance has brought people together across cultures and continents in a shared intention for peace. Through music, dance, and community gatherings, Earthdance creates spaces where human connection can flourish.
At the center of this movement is our Global Synchronized Prayer for Peace. When thousands of people gather simultaneously around the world, the experience becomes visceral. It’s a reminder that beneath our differences, we share the same pulse; the same desire for belonging, healing, and a more compassionate world.
Our 2026 theme, The Heart & Beat of Humanity, reflects this shared rhythm. It honors the simple truth that peace begins within individuals, grows through connection, and is amplified when we move together. In listening to one another and to the planet, we remember that humanity is strongest when we act in unison.
This year, that shared heartbeat will resonate across South America, with two Earthdance gatherings taking place in Brazil as part of a growing network of 12 synchronized locations around the world.
Highlighting South America
Earthdance Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
September 25-27, 2026
Earthdance Rio Grande do Sul has a long history in southern Brazil, beginning in 2004 in Porto Alegre. The first edition was held at the iconic floating bar at Usina do Gasômetro, organized by the Psyconautas collective. From 2005-2011, Portal Cósmico continued producing the event, and since 2014 it has been led by Ultravision under DJ Márcio TPS. The local organizers describe it as the oldest continuously active psytrance festival in Rio Grande do Sul.
The community has grown around a blend of psytrance, conscious dance, spirituality, collective healing, and peace, bringing together dancers, producers, artists, and activists.
The 2026 Earthdance RS is scheduled for September 25-27, 2026, at CTG João Sobrinho in Capão da Canoa, on the northern coast of Rio Grande do Sul. The event lists CTG João Sobrinho as its charity beneficiary.
The festival includes three days of music and camping, with local, national, and international electronic music artists. The 2026 lineup currently includes artists such as Marambá, Altruism, and Konebu.

Earthdance Lagoinha, São Paulo, Brazil

After a 13-year hiatus, Earthdance São Paulo returns in 2026, with longtime Earthdance friends and collaborators DJ Márcio TPS and Fabio Defourny (Mr. Defo) working together to bring the global Earthdance movement back to São Paulo and into the extraordinary setting of Aldeia Outro Mundo.
Located in Lagoinha, São Paulo, Aldeia Outro Mundo’s mission is to share a message of peace, love, unity, and respect through music, art, and education, while demonstrating what is possible when communities live in greater harmony with the environment.
A year-round community dedicated to connecting culture, nature, art, and education, Aldeia Outro Mundo hosts festivals, cultural events, workshops, educational camps, and immersive experiences throughout the year. We’re honored to have Earthdance become part of their vibrant community.
The land itself tells an incredible story of regeneration. What was once a deforested area used for cattle grazing has been transformed into an environmental preservation area. Approximately 80% of the property has been reforested, with around 10,000 trees planted as part of a decade-long regeneration project.
The Aldeia offers many distinct spaces for artistic performances. Among the available spaces is the Healing Space, dedicated to mantras and songs with spiritual purposes. On the Chillout alternative stage, you will find a mix of musical genres spanning different cultures, from forró to experimental music. The Main Stage is dedicated to various styles of music.
Throughout the property, visitors can also experience bio-sculptures and artwork created from recycled and natural materials, incorporating elements such as clay, branches, and plants. The art becomes another expression of Aldeia’s relationship with the land.

On September 19, 2026, participants across the Earthdance network will once again come together in a powerful moment of unity, honoring our shared humanity and directing our collective energy toward peace, compassion, and a more connected world.
