Following a meteoric rise on YouTube in 2021, LeVan put releasing his own music to the side in order to focus on continuing to grow his fan base by way of making reaction videos to artists such as Olivia Rodrigo, Taylor Swift, BTS, and Ed Sheeran. The YouTuber appeared upset by Olivia Rodrigo confirming her relationship with producer Adam Faze, and in a video shared on July 4th, he jestfully poked fun at the reason Olivia appeared so happy in her SOUR Prom performance, saying “I wonder why”. With hundreds of comments “shipping” LeVan with Rodrigo, it is apparent that her fans think the YouTuber has a chance with her in the future.
On July 4th, Maxwell posted cover art as well as a pre-save link to his Instagram story, announcing that “REMEDY” will go live on July 24th, 2021. Since his last single, which dropped on April 2nd, LeVan has upgraded to a professional studio and changed management companies. He has performed more than 10 shows, and made guest appearances on stage and at private parties, performing “LOVE REAL” and doing card magic.
LeVan has teased an EP as well as an album, but has not confirmed a release for either project.
