Dr. Myerson then did his fellowship training within the Division of Rheumatology-Immunology, Department of Internal Medicine at the Emory University School of Medicine from July 1, 1980, through June 30, 1982.
An expert in his field, the doctor is board-certified in rheumatology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.
A Founding Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology, Dr. Myerson is also a member of the Medical Association of Atlanta, the American College of Sports Medicine, the Georgia Society of Rheumatology, the Georgia Chapter of the Lupus Foundation of America, and the Georgia Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
Throughout his extensive line of work, he has served on the medical staff as a team rheumatologist for the Atlanta Falcons Football Club.
