The controversial influencer Andrew Tate is accused of telling a woman he was “debating whether to rape you or not.” He allegedly tried to strangle her and forced himself on her, according to a lawsuit she filed. The Guardian reported on the case.

The lawsuit includes claims from four women who worked for or were in relationships with Andrew Tate between 2013 and 2015. Two women worked for his webcam business in 2015, while the others were in relationships with him in 2013 and 2014. They say they faced harassment from him. Tate is already being investigated in three countries for crimes like human trafficking, trafficking minors, and money laundering.

One woman, who says she was in a relationship with Tate in 2013, claims he raped her at his apartment after a training session for a kickboxing fight. She says she had resisted sex in their relationship. She claims Tate told her, “I’m just debating whether to rape you or not.”

The woman said she initially thought Tate was joking, but then he became angry, tried to choke her, and took off her clothes while she resisted. She claims Tate told her to “shut the f**k up” and, when she stayed quiet, he called her a “good girl.” She thought staying quiet might make him loosen his grip. She says Tate then raped her and repeatedly asked, “Who do you belong to?” In his defense, Tate claimed the sex was consensual and that the woman visited him several times afterward. Tate is also accused of whispering “good girl” to a female employee at his webcam business while raping her and threatening to shoot her. A third woman says he strangled her multiple times, causing spots around her eyes to burst blood vessels.

A fourth woman, who says she met Tate at Yates nightclub in Luton, claims he continued having sex with her after strangling her until she lost consciousness. She says she heard Tate saying things like “I own you” and “I’m going to kill you.” All four women say they suffer from long-term mental health issues because of the trauma they experienced.

Tate denies the allegations, calling them a “pack of lies” and “gross fabrications.” He also claims that his relationships with the women were consensual.
