Dr. Philipose completed her Family Medicine Residency at Grant Family Medicine Residency in Columbus, Ohio. She earned her Medical Degree from Kasturba Medical College in Manipal, Karnataka, India, where she also obtained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Prior to medical school, she completed a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Structural Biology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, building a strong scientific and research-based foundation that continues to inform her clinical decision-making.
A Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Philipose has served in numerous capacities throughout her distinguished career, including Family Medicine Physician, Occupational Medicine Physician, Urgent Care Physician, and Telemedicine Physician. She has practiced extensively in both Ohio and Texas, caring for patients in outpatient clinics, urgent care centers, hospital-based environments, and virtual care platforms. Her breadth of experience allows her to skillfully manage acute illnesses, chronic conditions, preventive services, and occupational health needs with confidence and precision.
In addition to her clinical roles, Dr. Philipose has demonstrated strong leadership, serving as Chief Medical Officer and Assistant Medical Director at Lower Lights Christian Health Center in Columbus, Ohio. There, she combined patient care with mentorship and organizational leadership, helping expand access to quality healthcare for underserved communities.
Beyond her professional responsibilities, Dr. Philipose is deeply committed to service and global outreach. She has participated in medical missions to India and Zambia, focusing on women’s health and care for victims of human trafficking.
