Produced by Bill Palmer at Torreón Studio, Matt Malone’s sophomore project ‘The Frontlines’ is now available for streaming.
Singer-songwriter Matt Malone takes inspiration from country music’s bold yet emotional manifestation, forming his own sublime collection of lyrical ballads, ‘The Frontlines.’ The refreshing folk tunes infused with pop and country resonance take the album’s message to another level. ‘The Frontlines’ is a personal project that depicts what comes after a relationship ends – the restlessness that inspires change, the nostalgia that occurs after leaving, and the excitement, anxiety, and even sadness of a new chapter. The reflective guitar lead drives the mellow energy of the tracks while Malone’s enchanting vocals gently ride the wave of the instrumentation. The sentiment is extremely evident in Malone’s vocal performance, projecting an eloquence and authenticity that draws and immerses the audience in a beautiful listening experience.
Hailing from Santa Fe, New Mexico, Matt Malone had been involved with music from the age of only 4, playing the piano. He started playing the guitars at 13 and had been a part of various alt-country and rock bands in Washington DC. By the age of 20, he began touring all over the US, playing solo singer-songwriting shows. Inspired by legends like Frank Sinatra, Ray LaMontagne, Bob Dylan, and Bon Iver, Malone’s brand of music is raw and unfiltered and will certainly resonate with many.
‘The Frontlines‘ is now available on Spotify and Bandcamp.
