The album is called “White,” and it joins “Black” and “Aqua” which he released on the same day in November.
J Young MDK, the performing name of Jermaine Carter, is also planning on regular releases of every track on the albums on all main streaming music channels including Spotify, SoundCloud, YouTube, Apple Music and more. His plan is to release one new song every week, in an ambitious campaign he calls “50Songs50Weeks.”
“White” includes a selection of tracks that blend pop, alternative, R&B, rap and other styles. Each previous album had a specific musical style: “Aqua’ is primarily R&B and “Black” is primarily hip-hop.
“There’s a little bit of something in there for everyone,” he said. “All things are possible, even in a national pandemic.”
With “White,” J Young MDK hopes to provide listeners with the conclusion of a wonderful trilogy of music.
His music channels have already led to over 1 million downloads and more than 500,00 subscribers.
