(YourDigitalWall Editorial):- Severn, Maryland Feb 19, 2021 (Issuewire.com) – Kendra Eden is a well-known pastry chef who is bringing her love for desserts and decorating to a taste bud near you. Her new storefront business is conveniently located in Hanover, MD near the Ft. Meade and Baltimore-Washington corridors. The Johnson & Wales University graduate has years of experience within the hotel industry but always had a dream of having her own bakeshop. “I loved to bake as a kid and have tea parties with real cookies. My mom always made our birthday cakes and she took the Wilton cake decorating classes. So I was exposed to some of those techniques early on,” shares Kendra.
However, it wasn’t until she became a mother that she knew that she needed to take a leap of pastry faith. “Once I had my daughter I wanted to work closer to home. There has never really been a retail bakery like this in the Hanover area so it seemed like maybe I could fill a void for this community,” Kendra continues. From there, Kendra pivoted into the role of a female minority business owner through the opening of Sweet Eden Bake Shop. Their variety of tasty offerings set them apart from other bakeries as well. The bakeshop even offers holiday specials such as to treat boxes for Valentine’s Day and other special occasions.
Throughout the pandemic, the brand is remaining successful as well through its shift to cater to consumers in more ways. Their sweet treats are offered through local delivery services to be more accessible and convenient for the community. They are also offering neat opportunities for children and families through a new partnership with the Severn Public Library with “Decorate Your Own Cookie” kits. This fun activity is a great opportunity to engage families beyond television and video games. To learn more about Sweet Eden Bake Shop please visit them online and also on social media
